I was in a bit of a poetry mood today, so here are some random thoughts......


Giving me a life with no sun
No release from my own chains
Scratching, clawing pulling my veins
Draining my blood, leaving the pain

Gotta run to the end, my life is at stake
Chopping off the competition
Sitting down, hitting the blood on the flooor
Living off the essence of life.

A Funny Day At The Capitol and without a Schlossberg

Wow, a day when we have a new socialist President inaugurated both Ted Kennedy and Robert Byrd collapse on the same day? Personally I think Byrd (who was the former Grand Wizard of the KKK, something the Democrats always forget) mistook the President for a waiter and collapsed on site. Kennedy by the way was not feeling well....I guess chemo and Chivas don't go well together.

But I digress......So it's been 2 days already and Obama has already made it easier to protect terrorists, made abortion on demand and is about to sign that 1 billion pork er........stimulus package. It's amazing how we never learn from history, find we one country who has ever tax and spent it's way into prosperity and I'll show you the Soviet Union. Oh, wait they collapsed because of that didn't they?

Once again proving God has a sense of humor, Carolyn Scholssberg dropped her Senate bid. It seems her and the hubby aren't getting along and she forgot to pay some taxes for her nanny. Maybe she can be treasury secretary instead?

A Scholssberg in the Senate?

It's amazing how low the Senate seat has sunk. New York goes from Daniel Patrick Moynahan (the only Democrat I ever voted for), to the carpetbagger to now a Scholssberg. Oh, I'm sorry KENNEDY.

The holy grail of the left...the Kennedy's. Granted she married a rich guy and changed her last name..but we'll forget about that. You can tell that she's qualified...I mean anyone who says "Uh....you know" that many times in a interview is speaking to voters directly. Either that or Caroline is practicing to be interviewed on Sportscenter. Personally I haven't heard grammar that bad since the last NBA or NFL player post game interview that I watched.

But I digress.....There are plenty of qualified people without the last name of Kennedy in the state of NY. How about Congressman Steve Israel? Pete King? Tim Bishop? Part of me wants Kennedy to get appointed so Rudy Gulliani can wipe the floor with her. Maybe she'll even cry and get the pity vote. Governor Patterson should be a true statesman and appoint someone who actually could improve life in New York. The last thing this state needs is another Senator who thinks that life stops at Westchester.....
